Dr. Goldstein is a double board-certified clinical and forensic psychiatrist. She trained at the University of Chicago, where she served as Chief Resident. She completed additional training at UCLA's Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
Dr. Goldstein is trained in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Her practice focuses on depression, mood, and anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, preconception through postpartum, and menopause. Dr. Goldstein is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and recipient of the Super Doctors Southern California Rising Star.
Dr. Goldstein is committed to providing exceptional care, and helping her patients achieve optimal health and functioning. She uses a whole-body approach to uncover root problems, and then develops a treatment plan drawing on a broad set of tools. She believes the best care is achieved by working collaboratively with her patients and their other providers.
She has lectured on mental health care across reproductive and hormonal transitions, including trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Goldstein serves as an expert witness in elder abuse cases involving testamentary capacity and undue influence.
