Dr. Jessica Bunin is a highly distinguished, board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and Critical Care Medicine, bringing over two decades of profound experience from military and academic settings. An esteemed alumna of the United States Military Academy at West Point and Tulane University School of Medicine, Dr. Bunin's rigorous credentials include high honors as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM). Her robust training encompasses dual residencies in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry, followed by a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Bunin's career is marked by substantial executive leadership, having held critical administrative positions such as ICU Medical Director, Chief of Critical Care, and Program Director for Critical Care Medicine, notably at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Currently, she serves as a Professor of Medicine and the Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS). Her extensive operational portfolio includes deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, where she functioned in dual critical roles as both an intensivist and a psychiatrist. She is also a co-founder and coaching lead for All Levels Leadership, dedicated to professional excellence in healthcare.
